Precautions for the Use of Outrigger Hydraulic Cylinder
1. Before operating the outrigger cylinder, ensure the vehicle is parked on a firm, flat and horizontal ground. Soft, sloped and uneven ground is prohibited to avoid cylinder overload, tilting or tipping accidents.
2. Clean dirt, gravel and sundries around the outriggers before extension. Foreign objects under the support feet may cause unbalanced stress and cylinder deformation.
3. Extend and retract the outrigger cylinder slowly and steadily. Avoid fast operation, sudden start or sudden stop, which may cause hydraulic impact, seal damage and oil leakage.
4. Do not exceed the rated load capacity of the outrigger cylinder. Overload operation will lead to permanent deformation, cylinder rod bending or internal structural damage.
5. Keep the cylinder rod surface clean and dry during operation. Prevent sand, mud, dust and corrosive substances from adhering to the piston rod, so as to protect the dust seal and internal sealing components.
6. Do not work for a long time with the outrigger cylinder fully extended under load. Proper retraction can reduce long-term pressure on the hydraulic system and extend the service life of seals.
7. Check for oil leakage, abnormal noise, jitter and slow movement during cylinder operation. Stop working immediately if any abnormality is found and perform inspection and maintenance.
8. Never adjust, disassemble or repair the outrigger hydraulic cylinder under loaded and pressurized conditions. Release the system pressure completely before maintenance.
9. After work is finished, fully retract all outrigger cylinders and ensure the support feet are completely lifted and locked to prevent collision damage during vehicle traveling.
10. Regularly check the hydraulic oil level and oil quality. Replace deteriorated hydraulic oil on schedule to ensure stable working performance of the outrigger cylinder
